Rise of the Silver Surfer somewhat follows the general storyline of the movie: a strange alien being—the Surfer—has been spotted on Earth and it’s up to the F4 to help figure out what’s going on and put an end to it. Unfortunately for them, they also have to deal with the surprising return of Dr. Doom—because honestly, what’s the F4 without Doom, right? So in all that, it’s up to you to figure it out as you go along, because the game starts off with you being placed into a mine. There’s a small cutscene beforehand to brief you of Reed’s intelligence on the Surfer but nothing else. Speaking of nothing, the game doesn’t focus too incredibly much on the Surfer himself. You’re following his trail, to a degree, and only encounter him a few times. So much for having his name in the title.
It won’t take you long to complete the game. One could probably do it in a manner of six hours. You could take longer if you decide to max out your character skills. Although, it can get a bit time consuming.
The game looks pretty good in the graphical sense and is a clear advancement over its predecessor. There’s more attention to the character models mostly, although Thing looks overly rocky. The Invisible Woman also looks a bit odd, but really, can a computer generated Jessica Alba look as good as the real thing? The game does help lower the oddity of the blond hair and blue contacts combo, at least. At times during cutscenes, the characters will go through a slight decrease in quality, but it mostly affects Sue and Ben. The environments are pretty good, but nothing fantastic (yes sir, a possible pun). They're expansive enough and load times only occur when a cutscene is about to happen, but those are repetitive and more shiny than detailed.
Rise of the Silver Surfer definitely handles better than the last game and adds more team involvement to help defeat oncoming enemies. The attacks are basic for the most part and cosmic powers—obviously—are character specific. They get slightly over-responsive from time to time, but it’s not too big a deal. New to the game are fusion attacks, which add a new dynamic. Unlike the movie, in which Johnny Storm can swap powers with another member of the team, the game allows two characters to team up and create a more devastating attack. It comes in handy for a bigger group of enemies (although most of the time, it’s not that hard to just punch them all to death) and for boss battles. For power enhancements, PS3 and Wii owners will be able to use your controllers for more devastating attacks. And for much the entire time, you’ll have your whole team together, which is nice. DS owners will be able to take the reigns of the Fantasticar, which is a nice touch, and the Silver Surfer himself. There are instances where you’ll take control of a particular character in a small sublevel where only their powers will come in handy, like when you must chase the Surfer with Johnny.
Two of the game’s biggest problems are its repetition and its ease. All the environments, as stated before, look okay, but most sections look exactly the same. Take the Shanghai level, for example. You’ll be running through the same looking street for 10 minutes fighting the same enemies over and over. A statue is thrown in every so often, but that’s it. The rest of the levels will have you run around to the next group of enemies, beat them up, then repeat until you get to the boss—and of all six levels, there are a mere three bosses. Every so often, you’ll have a puzzle of sorts to figure out so you can advance, but they aren’t too difficult. And all of that won’t take long to complete because you’ll be able to defeat most enemies pretty easily. Bosses aren’t too hard either once you figure out how to beat them, especially since your characters will respawn as long as you have one alive.
But perhaps the most inexcusable part of the game is the lack of online multiplayer. Online play has come far enough, and this game had screaming potential to take advantage of it. However, all you can do is hook up a few other controllers and play with your friends on the same screen. Let the excitement commence.
So with no online multiplayer, there really isn’t much else to the game aside from the small extras. Finding silver F4 coins and Dr. Doom’s Spybots will grant you certain extras in the menu (which is incredibly bland), not to mention a couple of achievements if you find them all. Among the extras are ‘60s and ‘90s style costumes to use in the game, old comic covers, and concept art. Nothing, however, is too exciting, but it is kind of cool to play in the original costumes.

Nature fantastic 4
The synopsis of Iron Man looks something like this: "Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the CEO of Stark Industries which produces advance weapon systems for the U.S. military. Tony's father started the company after WWII, and after his death Tony inherited the company, worth billions. Tony lives the life as a hard drinking, rich playboy ladies man, but he is also a genius who has invented many high-tech items for the company. Tony flies to Afghanistan to demonstrate a new weapons test to the army. On his way back to his plane, his convoy is attacked by terrorists, and Tony is wounded by a Stark Industries missile. Tony is captured and held hostage in a cave with Raza (Faran Tahir), a doctor who saves his life. The terrorists force Tony and Raza to reproduce the new destructive Jericho missile Tony was demonstrating from parts of other weapons. Instead, Tony decides to build a suit of armor with Razas help. The suit gives Tony the strength and protection to be able to escape the terrorists. Back in America, Tony builds a better suit of armor which gives him superhuman strength with the ability to fly. With the help of his personal assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Jim Rhodes (Terrence Howard), Tony vows to protect the world as Iron Man."
THE GOOD
Let's start with Robert Downey Jr. It's amazing that his name was never even mentioned in most online discussion about "who should play Iron Man"? And yet when he was announced, everybody agreed that it was perfect casting. After seeing the movie, I have to concur. Robert Downey Jr. was beyond the perfect Tony Stark/Iron Man. He brought so much of that playboy crossed with undying genius to the role that you instantly bought him as Tony Stark if you're familiar with the comic, and he brought so much raw boyish charm and charisma to the role that you bought into him as a character even if you knew nothing about the comic book or what Tony Stark is supposed to be like. If this wasn't a comic book movie, I'd dare say some people would be talking Oscar nomination for him… no, I'm not kidding and I'd happily debate anyone about that point.
The visual effects were masterful! Everything looked so convincing and so real. We shouldn't be surprised by that… after all it's the same visual effects company who did the stuff on Transformers last summer and is going The Incredible Hulk in a few weeks as well. The wizards at ILM did such a good job you can never quite tell when you're looking at a costume and when you're looking at CGI. Never once in the movie did a poor effects shot pull me out of the movie (that's the ultimate compliment you can give a VFX supervisor).
Go figure… it was a good STORY! Some people are going to hate that I say this… but it's the truth. There is less "action" in Iron man than there was in the first Hulk film. No really… it's true. But here's the thing… because the story had such a good pace to it and was characters and backstory so well set up… and it was just a good story, the lack of action never becomes an issue. Don't get me wrong… there is some great action in this flick… just not as much as you might expect… but the quality of the story and the pace at which it's told more than compensate for that to the point that it never really becomes an issue.
The film does a wonderful job at never alienating audience members who many not know ANYTHING about the Iron Man comic book, and yet at the same time throw in lots of little nods to those who do know it. That's a fine line to walk, but they did it well which really added to the charm of the movie and allowed comic fans to feel more engaged with it.
This is not The Dark Knight. There has been a (good) trend in some comic book movies like Batman Begins to make things "DARKER". There's nothing wrong with that at all, and depending on the characters, that is often a very good thing. But Iron Man chooses not to go down that path and that was a very wise decision. It's a light, fun and exciting film which is exactly how it should have been (Then again, I'd still be interested in a darker Iron Man film where Tony Stark's alcoholism is explored)
THE BAD
As was mentioned before, the film could have stood to have a couple of more set pieces with more action. Yes the story made up for that, and it's not like the movie was suffering for a SERIOUS lack of action… but I still feel like one or two more sequences could have made it even better without making it feel over stuffed.
There is about a 15 minute segment of the film about a half hour before the end of the movie that did start to feel like it was dragging a little bit. It wasn't serious and never felt boring… but for that brief time it did feel like the film had lost its sense of pace… thankfully it found it again and ended with a BANG!
The only other bad thing I can say about Iron Man is that it may have set the bar so high for comic book movies this summer that it may ruin the rest of them.
OVERALL
Iron man is a fun, exciting, interesting, entertaining comic book movie that even non-comic book movie fans will enjoy. It's funny, looks great and has some great performances. Yes it could have stood a couple of more action sequences and yes it seemed to lose its sense of pace for a little while, but these are minor complaints that didn't effect the overall enjoyment of the film for me. While I certainly don't think this is the best comic book movie ever made (I still say X-Men 2 has that title) the bar for all the comic book movies this summer has now been set VERY high. Frankly, I have my doubts even The Dark Knight can match it. If it does, then we are a lucky audience indeed! Overall I give Iron Man an 8.5 out of 10.

Nature iron man 2008
Yes Man is a story of a negative loan officer, Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) who live his everyday life being pessimistic, reject every offer, request and invitations comes his way and refuse to let something new to enter his mind.
Someday in the middle of his working break, he met a friend who asked him to attend a seminar that will change the way Carl reacts to life forever. A "Yes Man" seminar…
In the seminar, Carl was reluctantly persuaded to make a covenant to say yes to every request in his life starting that night. As soon as he got out of the seminar, a homeless bum approached him asking if Carl could drive him to the city park, borrow his cell, give some money…and all his money.
By the end of this series of generous act, Carl was left alone ran out of gas and no money to buy some. And this is the start of his meeting with a scooter-singer-jogging photographer girl Allison (Zooey Deschanel). Through the relationship he discovered something new of being fearlessly saying yes after some consideration instead of blindly agree indiscriminately which often gets messy result.
Yes Man is in my opinion a suitable movie for Jim Carrey to warm up his comedy fans after some of more serious movies previously. Carrey rode the movie very well, making it alive with every effort he delivered. His collaboration with Deschanel results in many delightful scenes even though in some places falls flat.
I myself pretty much like the movie and not regretting the money I spent. Beside a good comedy, Yes Man also managed in slipping some serious wisdom in an amusing way.

MY OPINION AND VIEWS:
Plot/Storyline:
Battle between good and evil is the main theme of the movie. A never ending adventure involving the robots (Autobots and Decepticons).
Cast and Characters:
Shia LaBeouf is remarkably did well as Sam Witwicky. As young as he is, he already had done numerous notable performances in his previous films.
Autobot and Decepticon characters are amazingly the best robot adventure ever -made.
Direction/Visual Effects:
Since Michael Bay had made numerous remarkable films such as Bad Boys, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and no doubt the he is the best for making the Transformer's character into a real-life action heroes.
Impressive animated action.
CONCLUSION:
The robot action in this movie was exceptional. Crafted really well. Special effect/CGI presentation is definitely stunning. I can say that its no ordinary robot adventure. It's worthwhile to watch over again. I'm not really a big fan of the comic series "Transformers" but I think I have to check it out too, I'm just curious enough to compare.
This DVD copy is one of my treasured collection so I could still watch it with my children even when I'm old. hopefully it can be come true.
